• A letter of invitation will be given to artists representing a particular city, to enable them to take the necessary steps to obtain state or private funding to cover their attendance at the summit and to finance their transport and fees.

• In the instance of several artists putting themselves forward for a particular city, the Selection Committee will choose the delegation which they consider most representative of that city.  In some cases two or more acts from a city will be admitted.

The selected delegations will have the right to:

• To be included in the main Summit artistic programme, performing at least once.

• To be provided with full-board accommodation for four days by the Summit organization.  (Artist delegations from Finnish cities: 2 days).

• To take part free of charge in the music and dance workshops organized by the Summit.

• To receive a corresponding official Summit pass in order to be able to attend all the shows and social events organized by the Summit.

• To use the merchandise stands laid on by the Summit to distribute their own audiovisual material.
